Values
I wrote these eight values to be the guiding principles of all of my companies and projects. These values drive how my teams engage with each other, our partners, and our clients.

They influence our leadership tenets, business decisions, and ultimately how we serve our industry and our communities.
01Clarity

Always strive for maximum clarity – in listening, in understanding, in communicating, and in thought.

Be vigilantly cognizant of any sign of vagueness.

If you don’t pick up on something ambiguous and immediately clear it up, it will often result in a failure down the road.

02Action

Take action. Get things done!

Break irrelevant connections. For example, “I can’t do A because first, we need B” – 90% of the time A can be accomplished without B.

Find a way! You are a solution-finder, not excuse-maker.

03Focus

Focus on accomplishing the goal.

Effort counts, achieved goals speak for themselves.

04Measurement

If you meticulously measure something, it has a chance of improving; otherwise, improvements are left to chance.

Define a set of clear, objective criteria for what you are doing and monitor your progress.

05Process

Systems and processes are the backbone of success. Create them, follow them, and revise them when needed.

Systems help you get things done more efficiently, and bring intrinsic value to our team, clients, and partners.

06Detail

Without attention to detail, your work is unreliable.

You are accountable for every detail of what you deliver.

07Growth

Everything either grows or perishes. That is a natural law of life.

Embrace mistakes as growth opportunities. Growth happens outside of your comfort zone.

We do not settle for mediocre results. We expect excellence.

08Innovation

Innovation is the foundation of our success and the only way to win.

Look for ways to challenge the status quo.
